The "New Girl" actor joins the Spider-Man universe

In a move that has sparked excitement among Spider-Man fans worldwide, Lamorne Morris has been cast as Robbie Robertson in the upcoming installment of the beloved franchise. Morris, best known for playing Winston Bishop in “New Girl” and was recently seen in “Fargo” season 5 will star opposite Nicholas Cage.

Robbie Robertson, a longstanding figure in the Spider-Man universe, is known for his role as the city editor at the Daily Bugle, where he serves as a mentor and father figure to Peter Parker. His character brings a sense of integrity, wisdom, and journalistic prowess to the storyline, often balancing the demands of his professional life with his concerns for Peter's well-being.

Lamorne Morris, celebrated for his charismatic performances in shows like "New Girl" and "Woke," will bring a fresh take to the role of Robbie Robertson.
